The acclaimed Shard Outdoor Collection welcome a new additional, the Shard XL. Made of aluminum and crafted for the outdoors, it is beautiful enough to illuminate indoors, as well. With shards of grey glass embedded in a clear block of hand-poured artisanal glass made in Vermont by local glassmakers, the Shard's light reflects and refracts. It is the collaboration of two Vermont neighbors who pride themselves on forward-thinking design and consummate quality, with the shared goal of turning everyday objects into art. One of the most innovative hot glass studios in the country, the AO Glass team, led by Rich Arentzen and Tove Ohlander, collaborates with designers at Hubbardton Forge to produce custom, high-quality glass for many of our lighting pendants, chandeliers…and the Shard Outdoor Sconce Collection.

Hubbardton Forge offers a full complement of ADA compliant sconces with profiles that meet the Universal Design standard of a maximum 4.0” projection from the wall for sconces. ADA compliance is made easy, with lighting fixtures that are as beautiful as they are functional. Perfect for corridors, entryways, and common areas. This may include lobby and reception areas, restaurants and ballrooms, hotels, libraries, financial institutions, well-care facilities, and luxury living multi-unit residences.
